Reclassification of Pregabalin and Gabapentin means prescription can no longer be sent electronically

Pregabalin and Gabapentin are being reclassified as CONTROLLED DRUGS from April 2019. Unfortunately at present controlled drug prescriptions cannot be sent electronically to your pharmacy. The effects of this change may be felt from March 2019. Waterloo Rowlands Pharmacy and Wellcare Pharmacy collect paper prescriptions regularly from the surgery but if your prescription usually goes electronically to another pharmacy you will need to discuss future arrangements with your pharmacy and may need to collect these prescriptions from the surgery yourself.

We are unable to post controlled drug prescriptions.

A member of our clinical team will contact these patients as part of our medication review process to explain the benefits of this service.

Patient Feedback - Good and Bad!

From 1st December 2014 we are participating in the national NHS Friends and Family Test which invites you to provide feedback on the services you have experienced at the Practice. We want to know about the good things that we have done so we know what is important to you and should not change. We also want your feedback about things that you feel need to be improved and we will see if we can do anything about those.

The results of your feedback from January 2015 onwards will be published nationally. It doesn't take long and you don't need to provide your details.

Look for details in reception or you can ask a member of staff how to take part. More information is available via

Our Friends and Family Test can be accessed using the "Patient Survey" link on the homepage or click here.
