Clinics & Services
Minor surgery including incisions, excisions and injections of muscles tendons and joints is performed by appointment at the discretion of your doctor. Warts are treated in a special clinic after referral by your doctor.
In the early autumn we offer appointments for flu vaccination which is particularly recommended for those with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, residents in nursing and residential homes and all patients over 64 years of age. Re-vaccination is required annually to continue the protection.
Immunisation against pneumonia is available throughout the year. Patients of 65 years of age and over are encouraged to have this vaccination. If you are under 65 years of age but have a chronic illness ask the practice nurse or doctor whether this immunisation would be of benefit.
Additional Services Offered
The doctors advise patients to see a dentist for dental problems. We recommend all our patients register with a dentist. Please check the arrangements your dentist has for providing an emergency service.
The doctors delegate many of their responsibilities to the practice nursing team. If you are able to discuss your needs with the receptionists they will be pleased to advise you whether the nurse will be able to help you.
